Music Lessons

Monday, August 7, 2023 – Although the weather doesn’t feel like it, fall is just around the corner. We are open for in-person lessons at the studio, while continuing to offer the online option via Zoom, Skype, or FaceTime. Please note: We are now using a “Masks Optional” policy for the students. Teachers continue to wear masks, and we continue to require hand sanitization and personal health monitoring as the studio space is not large. If the student is sneezing or coughing, they may be asked to wear a mask. There is an air purifier with a HEPA filter, and the piano is wiped down with sanitizer after each student.

Cascadia Music Studio is located in the west end of Toronto, Ontario, close to the intersection of Dufferin and St. Clair Avenue West. We welcome students of all levels and ages (5+ to adult) who wish to be a part of a gentle, fun, and encouraging music community that supports quality and excellence in the arts! We enjoy hosting recitals throughout the teaching year where piano students perform a variety of works from early learning pieces to advanced works in classical and popular genres. Many of our students also participate in piano and theory examinations through the Royal Conservatory of Music development program.

We offer piano, theory, and composition lessons at the studio. Lessons are one-on-one, meaning your child is engaging in a unique weekly musical mentorship that educates, uplifts, and encourages artistic potential!

Lessons run during the academic school year, beginning in September and ending in June. Summer lessons or a mid-year start are also possible, depending on teacher availability. There is no registration fee at Cascadia Music Studio. Adults and children are all very welcome!
